Many of these images came about during the recovery process of my partner's health, after a prolonged bout of illness.
It is a strange and unfamiliar land that you find yourself in, muffled from the everydayness of other's lives - a kind of bubble of all-consuming uncertainty.
The family as a whole was shaken and had endured dark periods of multi-layered anxiety, but day after day light started coming in through the chinks.
